Undoubtedly, the risk of the disease in men is rare and reportedly it has been noted that the ratio of breast cancer in men are 1 in 1000 while in the women the ratio gets as large as 1 in every 8 women will suffer from the disease.
There is a rare chance that a man under an age of 35 years gets a breast cancer. The ratio of this gets increased with age and most cases of breast cancer in men have been recorded at the age of 60-70 years.
The chances of it increases, if the man has any close female relative suffering from the disease, by taking estrogen, and also due to a dangerous liver disease known as “cirrhosis”.
It has also been noted from the stats that men are most likely to die from the disease than women.
