Fit-again England all-rounder Ben Stokes, who has just been recovered from the knee injury after the successful surgery has hailed Pakistani star leg-spinner as the best leg spinner in the world since the great Aussie Shane Warne.

Yasir Shah went all fire to the English batsman when the 30-year old took 10-141 match figures and helping his side beat the hosts by 75 runs in the first test at Lords on Sunday after 20 years of patience.

Stokes on Wednesday said in an interview to the British media “I think He (Yasir Shah) is the best leggy in the world after Shane Warne.” He added that, they will go into the second test after working on how Yasir Shah goes about bowling and the other thing to counteract is the conditions which his side has to adjust before going into the game.

25-year old added, He has been playing county cricket as a batsman for around two weeks, which is going to help him get his form and confidence back before going into the match situations after his recovery from the knee injury that kept him out of the side for almost 2 months.

Stokes have been seen bowling in the nets which he feels is not good enough to bowl in the match situations, but he is going to get a massive confidence through these practices in the nets and the side matches he has been playing for his county team.

Stokes, along with the test great and exceptional fast swing bowler James Anderson plus leg spinner Adil Rashid are all set to make an all important comeback to the national side in the second test against Pakistan at Old Trafford, Manchester starting from 22nd July.
